Celebrate National Arts in Education Week with Act One

Impact Report: National Arts in Education Week 2017

Save the Date: September 9-15, 2018

Act One and Arizona's arts community celebrate National Arts in Education Week to bring awareness to the importance the arts play in student success. A nonprofit organization, Act One provides access to the arts through school field trips.

The arts are an essential part of a complete education, no matter if it happens in the home, school or community. Students of all ages -- from kindergarten to college to creative aging programs -- benefit from artistic learning, innovative thinking and creativity. Celebrating National Arts in Education Week is a way to recognize the transformative power of the arts and share the message with friends, family and communities.

Through the celebration, Act One seeks to mobilize people who believe in the value of the arts in education to make their voice heard. The desired outcome is increased public and private funding devoted to securing the arts in children's education throughout the state.

Join the movement to ensure every Arizona student receives an education rich in the arts and has access to the arts through field trip experiences.
